Jean Hoffman moves into newly renovated office space
June 21st, 2017
Monaghan Woodworks has done an outstanding job transforming the second floor of The Oxford Building into a unique office for Jean Hoffman’s business and foundation activities. The office has high ceilings, natural light, and a mixture of old details such as exposed brick and original wood floors combined with new finishes such as walnut ceilings and cabinets. Thanks to Monaghan owner, Michael Monaghan, and VP Brad Finlay, and under the on-site guidance of Kevin Eaton, with project management by Kristine Provencal, the space is built to an exceptional quality standard with a unique design. The office features flexible meeting and conversation spaces, state of the art teleconference facilities, and an open kitchen.
“I am extremely grateful for the high caliber work by Monaghan and their outstanding sub-contractors. From structural engineering work by Structural Integrity, to the beautiful brick work by G. M. Libby & Sons Masonry, to heating systems by HVAC Services, floors installed by Jim Powers and refinished by Jim Richards, electrical by Bruce Milliken, drywall by DNW Drywall, plumbing by Owen Brochu, painting by A+ Painting, and the lighting designed by Greg Day Lighting to highlight the space and artwork, Monaghan’s team and their subs have created an elegant yet comfortable, modern space and preserved the special features of a John Calvin Stevens designed brick building. Thanks to Michael Monaghan and his team’s integrity and hard work, the new office space will be beautiful and functional for years to come,” says Jean Hoffman.
